Analysis of a database to predict the result of allergy testing in vivo in patients with chronic nasal symptoms and the development of the software A…

2014

Background. This thesis consist of parts(i)Introduction in wich we present the clinical problem of rhinitis;(ii)the methods to evaluate the diagnostic choises;(iii)the rational errors in Allergy,(iv)the experimental part of thesis with wich we developed the software ARTSTAT,wich is the application of the analysis reported. Objective: We studied the ability of the logistic regression model obtained by the evaluaqtion of a database, to detect patients with positive allergy skin prick test(SPT)and patients with negative SPT. The model developed was valitated using the data set obtained from another medical institution. Methods: The analysis was carried out using a database obtained from a quest…

Discrete-timeH −  ∕ H ∞ sensor fault detection observer design for nonlinear systems with parameter uncertainty

2013

SUMMARY This work concerns robust sensor fault detection observer (SFDO) design for uncertain and disturbed discrete-time Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) systems using H −  ∕ H ∞ criterion. The principle of the proposed approach is based on simultaneously minimizing the perturbation effect and maximizing the fault effect on the residual vector. Furthermore, by introducing slack decision matrices and taking advantage of the descriptor formulation, less conservative sufficient conditions are proposed leading to easier linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Moreover, the proposed (SFDO) design conditions allow dealing with unmeasurable premise variables. Finally, a numerical example and a truck–trailer system…

A novel evaluation model for hybrid power system based on vague set and Dempster-Shafer evidence theory

2012

Published version of an article from the journal: Mathematical Problems in Engineering. Also available from the publisher:http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2012/784389 Because clean energy and traditional energy have different advantages and disadvantages, it is of great significance to evaluate comprehensive benefits for hybrid power systems. Based on thorough analysis of important characters on hybrid power systems, an index system including security, economic benefit, environmental benefit, and social benefit is established in this paper. Due to advantages of processing abundant uncertain and fuzzy information, vague set is used to determine the decision matrix. Convert vague decision matrix to …
